“My Simple Italian”

I recently bought Theo Randall’s book – “My Simple Italian”. It has fabulous recipes that are not complicated. It gave me the inspiration for tonight’s dinner, risotto with peas, prosciutto and parmesan. I balked at the amount of butter for 2 people (100g) and reduced it to 50g. The recipe worked brilliantly. Sometimes I feel, chefs do not always have their recipes tested by Jo Public and they can be complicated and long winded. I had my weeklyFrench lesson via Zoom with my wonderful teacher called Elodie. Since moving to France I have tried a variety of teachers/French learning schools and by far she is the best that I have had. Lucky for me that she lives in our village and I enjoy our weekly sessions together.
