Join Fiona for a French style cooking class which will be relaxed and informative. These lessons are conducted around my large kitchen table in my Provencal kitchen. Together we will prepare dishes, talk and share experiences and I will provide as many tips as I can for you to take home. After preparing our 4 course lunch we will sit down together taking in the view of Mt Ventoux (weather permitting) and sample local wine and cheese. In this part of France many hours are spent around the table and a 2 hour lunch break is still the norm. I will not just teach you cooking, I will try and show you our way of life, Provencal life.

Length of classes will be 4 hours (10.30am – 2.30pm) Max 6 people

A sample of a typical cooking menu is as follows:

Apero : Gougères

Entre : Salad of leaves, local goats cheese and caramelized walnuts

Main: Cuisses de poulet farcies with Provençal tomatoes

Dessert: Tarte aux abricots

Per person €175.00 minimum 2 people

Please advise in advance of any dislikes or allergies. Please note that my kitchen is not nut free.

I can also organise subject to availability a local winemaker to come and talk about local wine and how best to match food with wine. This is an extra service and cost.

We are lucky to have fabulous vineyards on our door step. I can arrange personalised tours to small family run estates. Our region is situated in southern France along the lower slopes of Mont Ventoux, falling between the Côtes du Rhône and Provence wine areas. It is most famous for its red and rose wines and now there are also some very good white wines being produced. Increasingly estates are now turning to either organic or biodynamic production and each vineyard has its own particular character. I would be pleased to help organise an itinerary tailored just for you.
